The Palazzo is an exclusive hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada which is a suburb of Las Vegas. The casino is open to the public 24 hours a day and is spread over 102,000 sq ft of gaming space, housing 1550 betting in slots games and 120 table games. The Property owns 10 restaurants and an exclusive hotel with 3000 rooms. The 1550 gaming machines offer a huge variety to players and table and poker games are 120 in number. The restaurants are exotic and serve Italian, African and an array of Grilled food, while the bars offer select liquors.
Palazzo is owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation and the property is noted for its European setting and extravagant design, and is the sixth largest building in the world, when it comes to floor space. The Palazzo was thrown open to public on January 17, 2008. The Palazzo is LEED silver certified. The lobby is a spectacular sight where guests arrive beneath a 60 foot glass dome with a two-storey fountain. The underground parking area has elevators and escalators which land in the centre of the property and gives visitors access to all areas.
‘Wheel of Fortune’ was taped four weeks in a row at the Palazzo in July 2009 and two weeks were aired in September 2009, the other two weeks are scheduled for February 2010.
